General Awareness & G.K.

History, Geography and Socio-Economic development of Jammu & Kashmir and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.

Elementary Maths

The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.

Analytical Aptitude & Ability

Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

  • 3 Stages: Clear the Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), and Written Exam to make the cut.
  • Written Exam: 100 questions, 2 hours, covering General Awareness/G.K., Elementary Maths, and Analytical Aptitude & Ability.

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

The candidates who will be shortlisted for the Physical efficiency test will be performing certain tasks assigned to them. The tasks for the male and female candidates carried under the efficiency test shall be as given below:

JK Police Constable 2024 Notification will be released soon. A total of 4000 Vacancies are expected to be released for the post of Constable. The Police Headquarters Jammu & Kashmir will notify the registration dates on the official website. The final selected candidates will get a JK Police Constable Salary range between Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200.
